5. Have a drink and a tapa in bar La Cova on the Plaza Major in La Bisbal.
Suite Pere Margarit
Christopher Columbus did not discover the New World on his own. Isla Margarita for example was named after his collegue Pere Margarit, who once owned Castell d'Empordà . After studying the life and travels of this captain, the famous designer Menno Kroon created a majestic ambiance for our exclusive Suite Pere Margarit. This 80 square metre chamber once was the master bedroom of the castle. Objects that originally belonged to the Margarit family and other historical references, like a Victorian bathtub, are the ingredients for a romantic stay.
